1. Tungsten Carbide Insert (TCI)
High grade tungsten carbide inserts are pressed into accurately pre-machined holes, the exposed ends of the inserts are the cutting working parts.
2. Tungsten Carbide Enhanced Inserts
Arranging tungsten carbide inserts in heel and gage rows, which greatly increase gage protection ability, also prolong the service life, it is suitable for abrasive formation drilling. Diamond inserts optional upon requirement.
3. Shirttail Protection
Widen and thicken hardfacing on shirttail to protect the seal.
4. Head OD Protection
Special tungsten carbide inserts are arranged on head OD to effectively reduce head wear in very abrasive formations and extend the bit life.
5. Body
The steel body with high strength after heat treatment
6. Nozzles
The nozzles is very important part in the life of a bit, bit hydraulics are controlled through these nozzles, it is also heat treatment for more strength and stability
7. Welding
The three legs welded together with quality electrodes to ensure stability in structure. To further enhance the stability,
the bit goes through heat treatment to relieve stresses after welding
8. Connection Thread
Threads are machined with CNC machine to keep a precision and dimension. A thin layer of heavy duty grease is applied to prevent rust.
